Press Release Regarding the Suicide Attack in Dera Ghazi Khan
We have received with great sadness the news of the suicide attack that was perpetrated against the Sakhi Sarwar shrine yesterday (3 April) , in which more than 40 people were killed and many others were wounded. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in this abhorrent terrorist attack and extend our condolences to the bereaved families of the victims as well as our Pakistani brothers and sisters. We wish speedy recovery to those wounded.
We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack. Terrorism is a crime against humanity. On the occasion of this appalling incident we would like to reiterate our solidarity with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism and extremism as well as our determination in the struggle against terrorism wherever required in the world.
